Blackpool FC unveil former Kamboi Eagles talisman

    Mighty Blackpool football club has completed the signing of former Kamboi Eagles striker Ron John Gandy-Williams in a three years deal. The Tis tas are busy during the transfer market offloading and signing new players for the second phase of the Sierra Leone premier league which is expected to commence on January 7th, 2021.

    Breaking the news on his Facebook page: Ron Gandy-William said as a young boy growing up in the Kingdom community, Blackpool has always been a team dear to his heart. He said it’s an honor for his family and him to have finally signed for Blackpool football club.

    Ron Gandy-William further revealed that putting on the orange jersey in the second leg will certainly be a dream come true and career fulfillment.

    It’s understood that Gandy-Williams penned down a three years contract with Blackpool for an undisclosed amount.

    In the 2021/22 premier league season Ron was part of the Kamboi Eagles team; where he played more than five games and scored three goals. He was instrumental in reviving the eagle’s poor run in the first phase of the premier league.

    Mighty Blackpool football club finished the first round of the Sierra Leone premier league in the 12th position earned 18 points out of 17 games played. The club is peeking to end the league season in a good tone.

    Tis Tas has recruited a new coach after they parted company with their old coach for poor results.

    The media department of Blackpool football club has confirmed that Kabba Tucker has been signed for five years from Bo Rangers football club.
