Leone Stars hit the Gym ahead of AFCON

    Sierra Leone National team (Leone Stars) have on December 1st, 2021 engaged in physical training at the Garrinika gymnasium gym at the Lumley beach in Freetown.

    The physical exercise lasted for one hour fifteen minutes. 27 home-based players and one foreign-based player participated in the bodily workout.

    The physical exercise is part of the technical team headed by coach John Kiester’s training planned for the upcoming Africa cup of Nation tournament in Cameron to keep the players fit for the competition.

    Garrinika gym at the Lumley beach this morning was fully occupied by the Leone Stars players who were all looking uniform and prepared. The lads were in good spirits and they completed all their training manuals shown to them by their coaches.

    The Leone Stars technical team was in full attendance. Sierra Leone’s first match in the Africa cup of nations is against Algeria on January 11th, 2020.
