Mighty Blackpool get a new coach after a month without technical head

    One of Sierra Leone’s oldest premier league football clubs Mighty Blackpool FC has on November 18th 2021 presented Alusine Balla Kargbo as the new head coach of the club to their fans at K.T training training ground in Kingtom.

    Coach Alusine Balla has penned down a two years contract with a target of winning his first five matches.

    According to sources within the club, the former waterfront boys coach pocketed twenty million Leones (Le20,000,000) as his signing fee with Mighty Blackpool

    Reacting to his appointment as head coach of Blackpool, Balla disclosed that he has A-license in coaching which he obtained in 2014. He thanks the executive of mighty Blackpool for allowing him to coach them.

    On October 6th 2021, Mighty Blackpool parted company with coach Oko Turay after a poor run of results. Since the sacking of coach Oko, the club has been working with a caretaker coach.

    Coach Alusine Balla Kargbo revealed that he is excited to be part of Tis tas the biggest club in the country.

    He was a one-time coach of Port Authority and Belvic United.

    Mighty Blackpool FC are currently in the 10 positions in the league log. Playing 16 matches winning 4 drew 6 and lost 6 and have 18 points. It remains one more game for the Tis tas boys to round up their first-round matches against FC. Johansen.
